Kamloops Operation Red Nose – (250) 372-5110 (after 8pm)

It’s that time of the year again, the Kamloops Operation Red Nose chapter is ready to go.  Starting tonight, motorists who don’t feel fit to drive their vehicle will be able to call upon the services of Operation Red Nose in a hundred communities across Canada. Until December 31st, they will be close to 55,000 volunteers to provide a safe ride service to ensure their fellow citizens get home safe.

Operation Red Nose invites the population to come out and volunteer one night, or to call for a safe ride home this holiday season. A call that goes a long way!

It’s easier than ever to get a safe ride home!

Users of the Operation Red Nose service can contact their local host organization with the Red Nose mobile application which provides the contact info of the closest organization, through geo The website of the national organization also provides useful information for both service users and volunteers! Simply go to operationrednose.com and select your region. Those interested in volunteering can download the Volunteer Application Form and follow instructions for their specific community.

More reasons to call Operation Red Nose

Calling upon the services of Operation Red Nose offers a lot more than a safe ride home. Indeed, the total amount of donations raised during the Operation Red Nose campaign helps support local youth and amateur sports programs. In 2018, volunteers raised 1.9 million dollars throughout Canada, which were redistributed in the communities where they were raised.
